My CC got ktv leh
Went down to my nearby community center to explore. Geylang West Community Center.
They got no gym zzz. But they got ktv! Woot! KTV just a stone throw away from my house, how cool haha. Check it out! The person in charge says the rate is $28 for 4 people in the noon, $38 for 4 people at night, including 1 free drink each. They close 11pm daily. So early close, but at least its cheaper than Kbox or Partyworld. Can consider if lazy to go down town sing :) I bet many uncles go there sing. Dont worry, the person in charge says all the latest pop songs they have, like Jay Chou, Jolin...
How to get there? Address : 1205 UPPER BOON KENG ROAD Contact No. : 67483024 MRT: Kallang station (EW10) Bus No: 21,26,31,853,961,2,13, 51,62,67,80,100.
Are you one of the many who have only 1 bank account? If yes, then you most probably encounter these incidents often:
Lets assume you have ONLY POSB savings account in Singapore,
1) Have to hunt for nearest POSB ATM whenever you need cash, (there is an OCBC ATM beside you but you cant use it.) 2) Have to walk to nearest POSB bank to drop your pay cheque, (there is a UOB Bank at your neighborhood but you cant use it)
Save the trouble! Liquidity is important, time is important. When you need cash, you need it quick and hassle free. I personally have POSB, UOB and OCBC savings accounts.
Pros? - Get Cash easily at the nearest ATM. POSB, UOB and OCBC are the 3 major banks in Singapore. Surely can find one of them beside you.
- Bank in your cheque to a bank that is conveniently located nearby to you.
- You can have set POSB as your savings account and UOB as a spending account to control your expenditure. You see your FAT POSB savings you will never realise how much you have spent.
- Reversible. If you regret, you can always terminate the secondary accounts and get back your money. So whats the worry?
Cons? NONE.
You need: $1700 thats all
1) Apply for a passport savings account at UOB bank. Min $500 to open an account. But deposit $600. There is a penalty fee of $2 if your account falls below $500. 2) Apply for a passport savings account at OCBC bank. Min $1000 to open an account. But deposit $1100. There is a penalty fee of $2 if your account falls below $1000.
And that's it! Cash is within your reach anytime, and anywhere. :)
Footnote: I prefer passport account than statement account. Statement account will issue a debit card to you, unless you need the debit card, debit card have annual fee to pay. *_* There is no interest lost by taking out $1700 from POSB. UOB and OCBC gives interest too. Other banks need higher min deposit, so i don't recommend unless you got $$$.
I seldom make instant noodles to eat, since it is not exactly healthy and nutritious. But if i do, i'll make a simple and clean one.
Simple and clean? Want to learn?
You will need: 1) one packet of instant noodles, any brand, 2) one egg, 3) oyster sauce, 4) tomato and chili sauce.
Once you got all the above, LETS START!
(1st step) Boil tap water, (2nd step) Open the packet of instant noodles, take out the noodles and... throw away the artificial flavouring. (3rd step) Once water starts to boil, add in noodles ONLY. Do not add anything else ok. (4th step) After 3mins, scoop out the noodles only, without water. (5th step) Put whole egg(Do not crack it) into the hot boiled water for 5mins. (6th step) Apply oyster sauce, tomato/chili sauce onto the noodle. Mixed well.
After the egg is hard boiled, noodles is ready to be serve.
Kinda of late for Xmas post lol, but nvm. 2008 Bugis xmas tree is put up by Lee Hwa jewellery. Short and cute, not as elegant as Soo Kee xmas tree last year.
