Today i'm going to try something different. I'm not going to add any meesua or noodles to my chicken breast. Instead, i am going to add alot of vegetables to make a salad. This is my 1st time making a salad, hot salad. Hot salad meaning all my ingredients are cooked, not raw. Cold salad the vegetables expensive man, one packet cost $7. Why i want to make this salad its because meesua and other noodles are mainly starch, which is not very nutritious. (Highlighted by Prata). Now my salad is healthy to the ultimate! If you think without noodles you will not get your stomach full then you are wrong. Put one WHOLE packet of vegetables and half Chicken breast is enough for me.
Lets see what we need: 1) Chicken breast 2) Shanghai green 1 packet (buy from supermarket) 3) Tomato 1 piece 4) Light soya sauce, pepper, sesame oil (for marination)
To prepare, marinade our chicken breast like as always. Preparing the Shanghai green takes a little bit of effort too. First we have to cut away the bottom where there are many dirt. Then pluck and separate the stalks for washing. Make sure wash away all the dirt. Tomato we cut it into small pieces.
Cooking procedure. 1) Cook Chicken breast 3min, (Do not add in vegetables and tomato yet!) 2) Then add the Shanghai green and cook for 3min. Remember vegetables must not be cook for too long to retain its nutrition and natural crunchy taste!
Tomato no need to cook, squeeze its juice on the chicken breast. After placing the ingredients nicely, Chicken Breast Salad is ready to be serve! My layout got 5 stars restaurant standard?
Mix well and ready to eat! I really like this salad, the Shanghai Green's natural sweet juice complement the Chicken breast's dryness. I can feel water in my mouth! The tomato natural's sourness spice up the taste to make this a fantastic meal!
