Excursion no2! Where? Haw Par Villa! Those who are above 25yrs old will remember this attraction of old. Its still there, even though already run down. Admission is free (Used to be $16), yet i barley saw 20 visitors through my 3hrs there. I can understand why, cos i know people who doesn't even know what's this place! Let me briefly explain what to expect from here. You will see sculptures and sculptures and alot alot of sculptures from Chinese mythology. Sculptures of Journey to the west, Mermaids, Buddhas,gods and mythical creatures beautifully carved in perfect master piece that you will never see another similar else where!
Today is a big day for Crispy, official opening shot of her new camera Canon SX20 IS. Haw Par Villa is just the place for her shots, alot of sculptures worth collecting. Right here the main entrance, its different from last time. The rocky hills used to be white and there's supposed to have a big dragon on top. Google the images if you want to see the old pics. Because Haw Par Villa is long long time go once, i am going to show hell lot of pics. Bear with me, my pics are around 80% of the total sculptures there.
This tiger tells a story: 螳螂捕蝉,黄雀在后. Over here, it shows a giant snake crawling out of its cave attacking a white goat. Little did the snake knows that tiger is right at its tail. (The snake is more than 5 meters long, i cant squeeze it into my N73.)
Go through this gate and we're in!
The main attraction of Haw Par Villa is the unique 18 levels of hell. This cave takes you on a journey to the 18 levels of hell, showing you how you will be punish if you do something bad while you are alive. Madam white snake (百蛇传). I'm sure you guys heard of the story before, if no please Google! Did you see the little snake underneath the bridge? :D

This is my favorite statue since i came here as a child. I suppose its 武松打虎. 武松 is one of the heroes in water margin 108 heroes.
May i ask why is The Statue of Liberty doing here???

Friendship and loyalty. I like the story behind. 3 friends went out into the forest. One of them saw bears approaching. Without warning his two other friends, he run for his life and climbed up a tree. The bears attacking his friends but did not kill them. After the bears were gone, the guy went to his friends and asked what the bears did. His friend replied: Bear told me not to be friends with people who abandon you!
