This is it!
Today i went to watch Michael Jackson's This is it movie. This movie is a collection of the rehearsal before his come back performance. Its a shame that that never happen. Like i mentioned before, i knew peanuts about MJ before his death, after he passed on then i start to listen his songs. I was curious why millions of people are crazy over him. Now i can fully understand why. If you watch his performance of some of his greatest hits, you will understand why too. His unique vocal, his 100% dedication to the performance and best of all, his signature moonwalk leaves an indelible memory to anyone's mind who seen it. This is why Beat it, Billie Jean, Heal the world remains so catchy even until now. People also love him because of his passion to save the earth from man destruction, telling people to stop war, and loving children.
If, based on what i seen on the rehearsal movie, what people said about Michael was humble seems to be true. He was very patient and soft spoken during the rehearsal, and he was never stingy with his expression of love to his team performers. He planned to help his team performers to get in the spotlight by letting them solo. (i thought that was really very great of him.) And true, from this rehearsal his guitarist, Orianthi Panagaris, shot to frame. If you haven't knew this 24yr old Aussie chick, Google her and you will see for yourself!
I think about the generations and they say they want to make it a better place for our children and our children's children so that they they they know it's a better world for them and I think they can make it a better place
I decided to torture myself again, picking up another exam to study lol! To be frank, i am very lazy if i don't have anything to do on hand. But luckily i got inspired by Jelly when i found out that she actually got read novels. Spur me to grab something to read too hehe. Partly also because i met into 2 friends who are interested in Travel insurance, and 1 friend who wants to do motor insurance business with me. I thought since i am in this line, might as well upgrade and widen my business opportunities.
General Insurance got 3 exam papers. This is the 1st one. Basic Insurance Concepts and Principles (BCP). So the long journey of reading starts again!
Have you bought anything from Cash Converter before? I didn't and today i made the 1st time buying a 2nd hand goods from Cash Converter. I bought a PC game, 倚天屠龍記, cost me $5. Its pretty expensive, cos i'm comparing to what Crispy bought over there. She bought a full korea drama, Stairway to heaven, for only 50cents. Yea 50cents! (I wonder why Cash converter even bother to sell for that 50cents) Anyway wait until i tried my game then see if its 100% working fine, if not then too bad haha.
Today i also met an interesting couple. Husband bought a fishball mee. His wife told him can only eat 1/2 of the noodles. Reason is to control his carbohydrate intake to lose weight. Haha. I think like that will gain even more weight. Eat so little think very fast hungry must eat again. Anyway can you stand it if someone restrict your diet? My girlfriend must be feeling lucky i never restrict her diet. I only advise her, not restrict, thats too forceful. She herself must agree and feel the need to eat right, restriction is not the correct way. Otherwise how long can the "regime" last?
This evening i attended Loong's wedding feast. Actually should call it "pre" wedding, his actually wedding banquet will be held on his hometown, Sarawak, this coming 27th Oct 2009. Tonight its meant for people like me, who can't attend his actual day at Sarawak. Tonight wedding feast was held on Simei HDB blk 117 void deck, similar as malay wedding. This is the 1st time i experienced HDB malay style wedding. Apart from having food catering, pop music, the special thing must be the groom and bride wear fully black?! Mafia style!

Well other than keeping my activities updated in my mobile phone, i have a second reminder to make sure i don't forget any of my important appointments/ events. This is not new, but just for the benefit of the rest who does not know.
Google Calender. - Free SMS to your mobile phone to remind you activities approaching. How sweet! - Free registration. Enough said, everything is free.
To start, you need to have a GOOGLE account. Simple, just register one for free. Then go to Google Calender..
You will see something like this:
The default option of GOOGLE calender is reminder via email. Of cos we want to GOOGLE to remind us via our mobile phone sms, since its free right. Please note that only Singtel and M1 subscribers are supported. To set using mobile phone SMS, do this:
1) go to SETTINGS. (Top right hand corner near to "SIGN OUT". 2) you will see calender settings, click on MOBILE SETUP tab.
3) Choose SINGAPORE and key in your MOBILE NUMBER (remember put +65 in front!) 4) Then click SEND VERIFICATION CODE. Within 1min, GOOGE will send you an SMS: your google verification code is xxxxxx. Enter the code you received into GOOGLE CALENDER. (see previous picture.) 5) Then click FINISH SET UP and SAVE. Done! That's all! (GOOGLE will sms u to confirm that your device has been verified.)
Do set the reminder as SMS, when you create an activity, remember to set the reminder option to SMS. Alternatively, you can have both EMAIL and SMS reminder. Enjoy!
