Today sun big big, heart itchy went to swimming pool. Saw few guys lying there sun tan, so me also bo liao go and try try. The feeling was... WOW! Felt as if i am frying myself on the Teppanyaki hot plate!
First the floor was dry and steaming hot on my foot walking towards the resting chair, just like how indians walk on burning charcoal. Then the plastic chair is even hotter since it has been under the sun for a long time. But since i already walked until the chair, i slowly rest myself on the burning chair. Don't want to look like a faggot in front of those burned guys beside. I can almost felt my skin frying when contacted with the chair.
After 20mins of tanning, i got myself sun-burnt zzz. But my sharp eyes noticed those guys tanning were using the same brand of lotion. I went to buy one in case next time i want to tan again. :)
Banana Boat Protective Tanning Oil Price: $17.20 Why everyone use this? 1) It got SPF against sun burn (Some lotion got no protection at all) 2) It is water proof (can tan then swim and tan again)
By the way isn't it disgusting to see people apply the lotion and later jump into the pool?
Took these picture last week, but was busy with night classes, so wait until now then blog it.
This is Kaki Bukit Hostel. Looks ordinary, but if you are learning driving at Comfort Ubi driving center, then take note of this hostel. Remember this: When you see this hostel, drive in the middle lane, DO NOT KEEP LEFT!
When i was learning driving, me as a learner have to drive on the out most left lane (which is also the bus lane.) But when i drive "test route no3", i will come upon this building. And the left lane when approaching this building can ONLY TURN LEFT to some out of the zone places. There is no option to go STRAIGHT. So i always remember, when see this building, keep middle lane. haha
If you explore abit, there residents park their bicycle standing lol. Tough work.
Continue study for insurance, Seeking for new job, company closing down soon.
The time has come for me to get out of my comfort zone and start new things. Firstly, look for another job as my company is wrapping up soon, due to bad business. That's ok, i can try out other jobs instead of stuck here forever.
Since i already 1/2 way through insurance course, i decided to continue finish the course. As the old saying goes:" you tried, you failed. You tried, you failed. But you only fail when you gave up trying." Know what it means? No matter how many times u failed, as long as you do not give up, u haven't lose it.
What will i look for in my new job for the time being? More $ = more work = more stress = less free time = more responsibility. Nah.
In the past i always rated $ at the top priority, which i think its same as many people. In Singapore, everything is $$$. But for me right now, $$$ is overrated.
I would compromise $$ for more free time, and lesser work. Why? Because other than working, i need my free time to do my favorite stuff like exercise, sports, movie. Lesser work means, no OT. I cannot accept a job that needs OT everyday. If my life is all about work work work 24/7, then my life is as good as a slave. Let say our prime life is from now until 50yrs old, then i only left 20yrs until i am old. I want to live my life my way, to the fullest. This 20yrs must be happy, healthy, fruitful, and no regrets. People who got a lot of work until no free time is not living at all.
I met an interesting doctor who once enlighten me. I only encounter this doctor once, i ask her what treatments or pills should i get for my pimples. She replied:" NONE. you shouldn't continue eating pills or waste money going treatments. You must adjust your lifestyle, go exercise." That time i said my work finished very late no time for exercise. She replied plainly: "Then change your job. Or adjust your time." So instead of earning my $$$, she gave me advice.
Ask yourself, do you feel unhappy about the enormous workload? If yes, then you should change! If you truly love the work you are doing, you won't feel unhappy. I believe we should work for gratification rather than working for money.
If you are reading this and you feel what i feel, then its time to sit back and give some thoughts.
"A guy bought a new saw and sawed 5 trees on the 1st day. He sawed 4 trees on the 2nd day, and 3 trees on the 3rd. By the 5th day, he could only saw 2 trees at most. He do not know why he can't saw 5 trees anymore. He became very tired. He rest, and think. He discovered that his new saw was already blunt. He sharpen it and on the 6th day he sawed 5 trees again. If he did not stop to think, he will still be sawing 2 trees."
Tonight i set my hands first time on golf! Not on the golf field of cos, but on the driving range. To play on the field, you need a PC license haha.
Went to Toa Payoh Poh Bro's driving range with Cris. He's hooked to golf recently and went for beginner course lesson. I just learn from him foc :) But of cos must pay for balls. For starters, i use club no8. If you do not own a club, you can rent clubs and drivers over here too.
$5 for 80 balls (no time limit, can slowly play) $5 for loaning of 1 club (limit 2hrs)
This is the field for you to shoot.
And distance markings for you to aim.
My first 10 balls are all missed and baby ball. After around 50 balls, i can finally hit the ball more often lol. My furthest is closed to 100M.
We went at night not much people, no need scare embarrassed.
Now see Cris posing.

This is my favorite chicken rice, for the past 2years. I order it like 3-5times a week.
Why do i like it so much? 1) 100% got white rice, 2) can ask for veggie instead of cucumber, 3) chicken is not oily 4) the breast meat is tender, not dry. 5) Freddy willing to give me enough meat for me to eat :)
Sometimes i order noodles instead of rice. But rice got more meat.
