Welcome, No2!
My china friend, Money, is going back to his hometown, he decided to entrust his bicycle to me. Remember his bicycle? I rode on it just a while back.
Money almost sold his bike for $40, but the buyer last minute back out. So he decided to give his bike to me free. Since i have had so much fun with this bike the last time, i adopted it.
Now i got 2 bicycles. Both are 5feet, exactly same size same shape. But strangely as i rode on it back yesterday, i felt that this bike seems to be faster, and lighter.
Today is a bad raining day, but it doesn't stop me from cycling. I got a new partner today, my cousin Kentucky. Miss K almost wanted to join us, but she backed out due to not feeling well. Where's my destination today? Bedok Reservoir Park! Its been ages since i last stepped my foot there.
Braving through the drizzle, we cycled from our home base to our starting point, Siglap Park Connector. Its basically just behind Kembagan MRT. Theres a map to reference the way to Bedok Reservoir. For your info, it was still raining when i took this picture. Rain drops did not stop us, mud pools did not stop us. Our faces were wet, our shirts were drenched, our shorts were stained with mud, but nothing could stop us from reaching our destination!
Following the Siglap Park trail, we cycled all the way straight until we reached an overhead bridge. This is the point we need to dismount and push our bicycles across the bridge.
Once across, the trail centers from a quiet and noisy environment. On our left is quiet neighbourhood park where joggers run, on our right is Pan Island Expressway packed with noisy motorcars. The trail is idiot proof, just follow only. Soon enough, we reached Bedok Reservoir Park! Yay! Today we started quite late, so when we reached, its already sunset.
I must say i'm quite disappointed coming here. At Bedok Reservoir Park, no doubt the tranquil scenery was enchanting. But you will be utterly disappointed by the trail over here filled with rocks. Yes, the trail seems to be meant for joggers, cos its not comfortable for cyclists to cycle on this rocky trail. In fact, we seldom see any cyclist other than us lol.
Is this a jetti? No entry for bicycles. I never see anyone fishing too.
This is one of the reason why we came here. Treetop adventure! Guess what, no one was playing! Thats of cos, its a rainy day!
Kentucky taking a close up of cat's asshole.
We cycled one round the reservoir and proceeded for our dinner at the famous Blk 85 Bedok Hawker Center. Then after we cycled back home via the main road. The up slope from Bedok to Kembagan is a killer. I bet the pedestrians could hear our grunting as we passed by.
At home base, we washed our muddy bicycles before returning home. (Thanks to Miss K for her water ^^)
I recommend another alternative way if you are familiar with Eunos. Eunos MRT > Eunos Technolink > Kaki Bukit Prison > Bedok Reservoir Park.
Today i didn't reach my destination, Marina Barrage. I never been there before, so decided to see if i can cycle to there. Miss K joined me in my expedition. We started as usual, from Kallang downward.
Follow the bridge along Kallang basin...
But as we reached this werid slanted looking old building, we switch lane into the park. Thats a good idea to avoid the blazing sun!
The instance we stepped into the park, cooling wind greets us. What a 180 degree change! Huge trees sheltering us from the sun above, you can see my pictures starts to get gloomy. At the park, we could see our destination, Marina Barrage, across the sea. Still quite far, we have to find a way to go around the sea.
Following down the park trail, we reached the stage of F1 racing. Thats right, we cycled on the F1 track, the track where the F1 cars will be running on this Sept. Cool!
This is the historical moment of my bike. Did i mentioned that i took this picture with my feet halfway almost steeping into the sea, just to take the full glory of Singapore Flyer?
Finally we reach the end of the F1 track, under the Nicholl Highway. Miss K says we need to use the ECP highway to reach Marina Barrage. But i said no highway, thats too dangerous, a definite nono. I will not risk our lives getting our ass bumped by some reckless motorist on the road. But if we do not take the highway, we have to take a big detour, Marina > Esplanade > Merlion park > Raffles place > Marina Bay to reach Gardens By The Bay.
In the end, we abort the mission and went to Suntec to shop instead lol.
East Coast Park continue! Today went there with Miss K. We took the same route via Geylang Park Connector > Katong > East Coast Park. More pics!

I have no idea why every time i went for cycling, one part of my bicycle will spoilt. Tyre bursted, leg paddler cracked, Hand handle cracked, and today my seat's turn to spoil. Apparently the metal underneath my seat pop up, making 2 horns protruding out. When i seat on it, i can feel 2 horns sticking on my ass. Not only my ass feel unhappy, even my balls feel tight. This must be god's will. He wants me need to d.i.y and modify my bike myself. This must be the reason why all the defaults parts are breaking away. Ok fine, now start i will search for materials and give my bike a full makeover!
Finally i finished my course training! The course was tiring but, I learnt alot from this training. Luckily my course mates are very friendly and chatty, that makes the course fun and enjoyable. At the end, we were all given a souvenir, a pen. Looks ok la, not bad. Can use it for the next course. Yes, you heard right, there are still more courses! Starting next week, 3 days weekly. The next course ends on end oct. Omfg zzx wtf...
Just want to share, two days ago i managed to pass my exam, that was my first attempt. Its a big encouragement for me cause i haven't pass any exam on the first attempt for a very long long long long time. Looks like my luck is changing for the better hehheh.
