on your guard!
We are at war. Period. The H virus has entered our borders, we are no longer 100% safe. Just yesterday i felt that i had a slight flu, immediately my mind think of the H virus haha. What if so lucky contacted? Wait have to be confine in a lonely cell, and i got claustrophobia leh. Yesterday night i slept early, 20mins earlier than usual. Sleep early helps recovering.
Phew! When i woke up today, flu is gone lol. (Actually not really flu, maybe just slightly.) I was thinking: What is the best preventive measure against this virus? Everyone says:
1) Avoid crowded places, 2) Wear protective mask like N95
I think the former is not really a good suggestion. Everywhere is crowded in this tiny island, MRT, Bus, and even shopping centers. How to avoid these altogether? How about wearing a mask? I think its not really good neither. Why? Do you stay alone? If you are staying with your family, does everyone in your family wear a mask when they go outdoor? You may be well protected outside with a mask, but if your family members doesn't wear a mask outside, they may be contacted and pass it to you at home!
So what can i rely on? Nothing, but the fate of god and my immune system! Eat more fruits, exercise, stay healthy, have adequate rest and hopefully you are strong as steel from virus attack. Oh ya, and pray. :)
Yahoo! I passed my m9 exam today, finally! One year ago i kept failing, i tried and tried still failed. Think at least failed 5-6 times until lazy to count. But today i passed, haha. If i stop trying, i will deem as a failure. Now all my money spent last time will not be wasted after all. With determination to pass, i struggled to open my eyes to study. Everytime i tried to study, my mind cannot focus, and i will keep yawning. Focusing is my biggest problem. I would spend 1hr to read 1 page because i could never remember what i have read the previous sentences above.
Example: Today is Friday, every friday Mr Bean goes to market. He will take a bus to market. He always buy carrots and meat at the market.
When i read the 3rd sentence,(He always buy carrots and meat at the market.), i will already forgotten about the 1st sentence! Which is, why Mr Bean went to the market, cause its Friday. And i have to read back the whole paragraph again. To keep my focus, i will glup down 1 litre of HL milk everytime i read.
Overcoming failure is not hard, you have to believe in yourself. As long as you overcome it eventually, all the past failures are nothing shameful but fruitful experiences that you have gained.
So remember this: "you tried, you failed. You tried you failed. But you only fail when you gave up trying."
My cousin said: " I shake leg at home also got $300-$400 go into my pocket every month."
His manager also says "i do nothing, just breathe can get $1000 a month."
By now can u guess what their job is? That's right. MLM.
This evening i give my cousin's face to go down to his company to hear them out. I have already been to this company before, but since my cousin ask me go down, so give him some face lor.
Compared to the last time i went down, now this company sell alot more products, from de-tox pills, slimming pills all the way to even diamonds! lol. They also deal with slimming spa centers.
Actually the potential is there. But i guess i am not really into selling pills lol or recruiting people to help me sell. That's how MLM works, recruit and recruit. If anyone of you is interested for this job offer, you can get more details from me haha.
Actually i don't know why the hype about guys wearing shorts, showing off their under-developed skinny legs strolling at shopping malls. Aren't we suppose to show our good points and hide our bad points? There, you will see skinny white china men wearing singlets walking at orchard lol. That's fashion? Showing people how skinny you are or those hairy boney legs you have is fashion?
Oh well, as the saying goes: If you can't beat them. Join them!

This is my 2nd time making my own chicken mee sua. (1st time with some help from mom.)
Dropped some pieces of meat into mom's lunch box, and some into dad's porridge. This is mom's feedback: mom: "Meat is over cooked." me: "Waa how u know?" mom: "Meat too dry." me: "....... over cooked better than under cooked."
Dad is sleeping so no comments until he eat his porridge later. Think meat will become hard as stone!
To start, you will need: 1) Raw chicken breast (buy from supermarket), 2) Cooking pot 3) pinch of salt 4) sesame oil
Once you got all the above, LETS START!
(1st step) Boil water in cooking pot, (2nd step) Cut the chicken breast into smaller pieces so that it is faster to cook, (3rd step) Wash the chicken breast while waiting for water to boil, (4th step) Once water is boiling, put the meat into the pot (5th step) add a pinch of salt for some taste and let it cook 5min (6th step) Once chicken meat turns white, add mee sua. Cook 2min. (7th step) After 2min, add a little sesame oil and stir.
After stirring, meal is ready to serve. :)
FAQs 1) My meat taste too dry? Try eating it with tomato sauce. 2) Soup taste like plain water? Aren't you glad after eating you don't feel thirsty? Outside soup taste nice but alot of MSG, makes you thirsty later. My soup actually hydrate you :) 3) Why mee sua? Mee sua by nature got some salty taste, so you feel some taste already haha. 4) Why not rice? Why waste time cooking extra calories when the meat is enough to stuff you? 5) Any gratification? Yes. How many of you guys out there ever make some good food for ya mom and dad?
This is a real story of a young college girl who passed away last month in Pasir Ris. Her name was Priya. She was hit by a truck. She was working in a call center. She had a boy friend named Shankar. Both of them were true lovers. They always talked on the phone.
You would never find her without handphone. In fact she also changed her cell connection from M-One to Starhub, so that both of them can be on the same network, and save on the cost. She used to spend half of the day talking with shankar. Priya's family knew about their relationship. . Shankar was very close to Priya's family as well. (Just imagine their love) . Then her friends told that person about her intentions to burn her with her phone. He then opened the grave box and place her phone and sim card inside the casket. After that they tried to carry the body. It was then moved easily and they then carried her into the van.
All of us were shocked. Priya's parents did not inform Shankar that Priya had passed away..
After 2 weeks Shankar called Priya's mom.....
Shankar :.....'Aunty, I'm coming home today. Cook something nice for me.
Don't tell Priya that I'm coming home today, I wanna surprise her.'
Her mother replied..... 'You come home first, I wanna tell you something very important.' After he came, they told him the truth about Priya. Shankar thinks that they were playing a fool. He was laughing and said 'don't try to fool me - tell Priya to come out, i have a gift for her. Please stop this nonsense'. Then they show him the original death certificate to him. They gave him proof to make him believe. (Shankar started to sweat) He said... 'Its not true. We spoke yesterday.. She still calls me.
Shankar was shaking. Suddenly, Shankar's phone rang.. 'see this is from Priya, see this....' he showed the phone to priya's family. all of them told him to answer. he talked using the loudspeaker mode. All of them heard his conversation. Loud and clear, no cross lines, no humming. It is the actual voice of Priya & there is no way others could use her sim card since it is nailed inside the grave box
They were so shocked and asked for the same person's (who can speak with the soul of dead person) help again. He brought his master to solve this matter.
He & his master worked for 5 hours.

1st time try my community center's KTV to celebrate K's birthday.
Here's my review on this KTV.
Package: 4hrs for 4people $38nett, include one free drink. (So each pay $9.50)
PROs: - Near to my house, save time and cab fare go home. - Air con can be adjusted by remote control. - Price is the main factor why we would go there. Cheap~
CONs: - Limited choice of free drink, no have honey. - Limited choice of songs, don't have 方大同's song. - Room is not sound proof from outside. - Always closed at 11pm daily.
Overall, this ktv gives me a cosy feeling. The free drink is very special, ownself take from the fridge lol. It is canned drinks, like chrysthanemum tea and winter melon tea. Hot drink is packet chrysthanemum tea, packet lohan tea, you have to boil it yourself haha. As for the song titles, they do have popular artists like raine yang, tank, Jay chou, jolin etc. For me its ok, cause i like to sing andy lau song heheh. Sound system is ok, and if you want, you can sing live at their hall outside. Got alot of elderlys sing at hall. You will be surprise when you sing halfway, one of the kids outside came in to sit bedside you lol!

My friend, Lion, asked me this today. My reply is "Nope. I just want to earn enough, million dollar is a bonus if i ever get."
Lion said he is very stress recently due to 3 reasons:
He just started his new job, got alot of things to learn, while at the same time, his part time study is keeping him busy with projects. More to this, his girlfriend quarrels with him more often recently. He wanted to break with his girlfriend so that he could focus on his career and study first, then maybe when its stable then find her back.
1) He just started his new job, 2) His part time study is getting busy, 3) Quarrel with girlfriend.
My advice to him: Re-organise your schedule. Plan it like Mon-Fri focus on work and study. Sat and Sun rest and spend time with girlfriend. Work hard, play hard. No happy man works 24/7. Explain to your girlfriend that you need time for work and study from mon-fri. That way she will not bother you and think you are neglecting her. Sat, Sun don't think about work, enjoy the day with her without stress and there will be less anger. Stress makes a person quick temper.
With proper time management, work, study and family can be juggled well. Sacrifice none is the right way to go.
Lion says after hanging out with me for some time, some things he learnt to take it easy.
You must be wondering like me; how come it is not the same jacket Wolverine wore in the movie. This one is pure black with 3 claw marks on the back. Looks lame. But the poster behind shows that Lee Cooper made this jacket for the movie "Wolverine".
I haven't got a good wake up in the morning for the past 2 weeks. Every morning i'll wake up with sweat on my shoulders, hair and pillow. I bet i'll slim down losing this amount of water every night. The night is damn hot these days, i have to sleep with fan on. But during midnight it gets cold and i turn off the fan. And when i wake up, my head pillow is wet zzz. Anyone getting the same problem too?
